Job Description:
The AV Purchasing Assistant will assist in sourcing, ordering, and managing audio-visual equipment and supplies. This role involves coordinating with vendors, tracking inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support our AV projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in purchasing or any related field.
- Graduate of any business-related courses (Bachelor’s degree).
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
- Ability to multitask between different projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge:
- Understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
- Knowledge of vendor and supplier management.
- Awareness of inventory control methods and stock management.
- Experience with sourcing and ordering technical equipment and materials.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing AV equipment, materials, and supplies according to project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Track orders and shipments to ensure accurate and on-time delivery.
- Inspect deliveries for quality and accuracy, resolving any discrepancies or issues.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and manage stock in accordance with project needs.
- Work closely with the AV team to understand equipment specifications and project timelines.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and other procurement-related documents.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of new vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
