Project Description
EIDIM undertook a holistic approach, managing all aspects of AV integration for the Conejo Valley Unified School District (CVUSD). This included designing, procuring, installing, and customizing production equipment and software to meet CVUSD’s specific needs. EIDIM also provided comprehensive training sessions for staff and ongoing technical support to ensure the smooth operation of the AV systems, empowering CVUSD with a fully integrated solution for its educational environments.
The Challenge
CVUSD operates three performing art centers that serve as primary venues for a wide range of events, notably board meetings. However, the existing audio-visual system falls short in meeting the diverse requirements of these events due to its outdated equipment and limited features. Moreover, there’s a pressing need for a more adaptable and portable set that can seamlessly transition from one venue to another. Therefore, an upgrade is imperative to address these shortcomings and enhance the functionality and flexibility of the system to better accommodate the varied needs of CVUSD’s events.
The Conejo Valley AV Systems Upgrade modernized instructional and event venues with enhanced audio solutions, integrated media-control infrastructure, and collaborative display systems. These improvements elevated voice clarity, simplified equipment operation, and promoted dynamic engagement for faculty, students, and stakeholders.

1. AV Infrastructure Upgrade
This category encompasses the implementation of a system with AV over IP technology, integration of projectors, and installation of cameras. These upgrades enhance the overall audio-visual capabilities of the system, enabling seamless transmission of audio and video signals over the network and improving visual capture capabilities.
2. Console and Rack Installation
The implementation of a new console and racks provides a centralized and organized setup for AV equipment. This ensures efficient management and accessibility of devices, contributing to streamlined operations and maintenance within the AV system.
3. Commissioning and Calibration
Commissioning of AV equipment, along with testing and calibration of audio-visual systems, ensures optimal performance and functionality. This meticulous process guarantees that all components operate effectively, delivering high-quality audio and video output for various applications.
Project Outcome
Our solution involved implementing an AV over IP system, where each room is equipped with cameras connected to portable production sets (FLYPACKs). These FLYPACKs consist of consoles, racks, cases, batteries, and projection capabilities. This setup allows for easy relocation of the system from one location to another without encountering any logistical challenges. Additionally, we incorporated a vote tally system and Intercom & IFB features to cater to the needs of various board meeting events. Our comprehensive solution also encompasses production and broadcasting solutions to ensure seamless execution of events.
